Project Description
The construction of 20,000 affordable housing units in Kpomé is one of the flagship projects of the Togolese Government's housing policy. KARAMON CONSEIL was commissioned to prepare the Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) for this project, financed by the African Development Bank.
The assignment involved identifying the people and assets affected by the development site, assessing the losses incurred, and proposing a fair and equitable compensation framework in line with AfDB safeguard standards.
The RAP also includes livelihood restoration measures and a grievance management mechanism to support affected people throughout the resettlement process.
