Project Description

KARAMON CONSEIL was commissioned to carry out the Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) and Resettlement Action Plans (RAP) for nine projects to build technical and vocational training centres in Togo. The nine localities concerned are Agoè-Nyivé, Ahépé, Tsévié, Sotouboua, Barkoissi, Tandjouaré, Guérin-Kouka, Danyi-Apéyémé and Koughonou. This extensive programme, financed by the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID), aims to strengthen technical and vocational training provision across Togolese territory. For each of the nine sites, the assignment covered the assessment of the environmental and social impacts of construction, as well as the identification of affected people and the design of compensation measures in line with EBID safeguard standards.
