Project Description

KARAMON CONSEIL prepared the Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) for the development and paving works of the Alédjo mountains bypass road, on the Agbang-Soumbou section of National Road 1 (RN1), in the Kara Region of Togo. This 14.13 km section is part of the Lomé-Ouagadougou-Niamey regional economic corridor, financed by the World Bank, which aims to facilitate trade between Togo, Burkina Faso and Niger. The RAP covered the census of affected people and assets, the assessment of losses and calculation of compensation, as well as the design of livelihood restoration measures for communities along the road right-of-way.
