Project Description
KARAMON CONSEIL was commissioned to carry out the Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) for the construction of two regional laboratories of the National Quality Control Office (ONCQ), located in Boké and Kindia, Republic of Guinea.
These laboratories aim to strengthen national product quality control capacity, particularly in the mining regions of Boké and Kindia, where industrial activity is growing rapidly. The project is financed by the World Bank and follows international lenders' environmental and social safeguard standards.
The assignment covered the identification and assessment of potential environmental and social impacts related to the construction works, as well as the proposal of mitigation measures tailored to the local context of each site.
